The Last Day 

I really can't believe that it's the last day because this week has gone by so fast. My favorite memory is probably of Tuesday because it was just really fun getting to go to life science and extracting the DNA from a strawberry. I also had really fun workshops, HTML and Making Slime and Penny Bridges, and I had my friends, new and old, in both workshops. But my favorite of all was probably Slime and Penny Bridges because it made you think but it was still really fun and the bridge that me and my partner made was really strong and only the pennies fell over not the actual bridge.

Tuesday: life Science, HTML, and Penny Bridges

Life Science: In this class we took the DNA from a strawberry. We also got to take our lip, thumb, and teeth prints, as well as solving made up crimes.

HTML: In this class we got to learn how to make a website. And not only did we learn how to make a website we also learned how to customize our own website with pictures and fonts and colors.

Penny Bridges: First today we made slime, and mine was a teal color. then we made bridges with pennies and had to try and stack as many as possible in the middle of the bridge, and my group got 41 pennies. next we had to make a continuous piece of paper with no gluing or taping just cutting and u had to be able to step through it.

Five Positive Things About Me:
My hair is really soft.
I'm sort of tall.
I'm really good at math.
I'm really good at playing the trombone.
I'm a straight A student.

Monday: Math, L.E.D., and Disecting

Math: Today we made abstract constructions, and fun shapes for geometry. We also made trail mix to help us with percentages and $/lb.

L.E.D. Pop-Up Cards: my card took a while to like up, then turned into a strobe light. But now it works.

Dissection: It was super fun because we got to see the bones and inside of the crayfish stomach. We also had to break the frogs jaw.
